Not a week goes by where we don't sell one of these lovely Tree Of Life carved artworks through my online shop. I think they are really beautiful.
I wonder if it's the spiritual symbolism and deeper meaning behind this piece that attracts my customers. Or it is purely because it is a stunning piece in a rare triptych formate (set across three square panels). It would indeed make a terrific (and affordable) 180cm wide bedhead.
Made from mangowood each panel measures 60cm wide 60cm high 4cm deep. They come in a variety of colours;
To celebrate the launch of my new blog I will be giving one of these lovely pieces away to an Aussie follower. To enter, simply sign up to start following my blog and leave a comment on how this Tree Of Life artwork would heal your space or the space of someone close to you.

A tree of life will heal my space
ReplyDeleteA simple reminder of nature’s grace
From branch to branch I will trace
The damage caused by our human race
We must redeem ourselves and protect this place
My children love to climb and play in our gorgeous maple tree in the front of our home. It is welcoming, provides shade on those hot days and obviously a wonderful place to play. The Tree of Life reminds me of this tree and the feelings it reflects. I can almost hear my children's laughter as I look at it...
ReplyDeleteA tree of life will heal my space because it will take me back to my childhood days of climbing and playing make believe with my older sister and brother. Memories that I love and will last forever.
ReplyDeleteWe've just moved in to our family home and I'm slowly making the space our own. In the middle of our back yard is a 100 year old cheese tree which looks just like the tree of life in the picture. It's the heart of the space.

ReplyDeleteI have REALLY enjoyed reading your blog. It is a delight & reminds us all how important our loving space is & the memories of various pieces like your beautifully designed metal table .
THE TREE OF LIFE pieces are tranquil charming ( no wonder they sell so well!)
THEY WOULD ENRICH ANY SPACE AS THEY
remind me of 2 things
the wonderful Hordern tree which said WHILE I LIFE I GROW
@ this wonderful poem Love One Another
~by Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet (1883-1931)
"Love one another, but make not a bond of love
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other's cup, but drink not from one cup.
Give one another of your bread, but eat not from the same loaf.
Sing and dance together and be joyous,
but let each one of you be alone,
Even as the strings of a lute are alone
though they quiver with the same music.
Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping;
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.
And stand together yet not too near together;
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow."
I'm looking forward to many more blogs and home ideas. I love the scatter cushions as I am currently obsessed with ikat - can't wait to see how they turn out.
ReplyDeleteI think this piece of art would be a great addition to any home but particularly I think a healing additional to a nursery, a simple natural space for a baby under the branches of the tree of life... poetic I think.
Being a tree, the Tree of Life artwork would definitely 'breathe' new life into any interior space. It represents fresh air, growth and nature. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win this great piece, I'm a follower!

A year filled with struggles has made me decide to take control
of what i can and start living again.Only i can control my own happiness.
I look forward to reading your ideas Bronwyn.

Love The Tree of Life. It's a forever growing family.
ReplyDeleteMy lounge room wall needs to be rejuvenated, after living in our current home for 7 years, we have always refrained from placing artwork on the Lounge room walls, until I saw your blog. The 'Tree of Life' is just beautiful and very poignant & would give our space a new lease of life!
ReplyDeleteBecause we love bringing nature inside!!
ReplyDeleteYay for your new blog Bron! I will blog about this today over on once daily chic! I loooove this tree of life piece -infact ive always said if i was to get a tattoo it's be a little tree of life! I love the symbolisim of nature & its power & how basically everything we have it really received from nature! Oxygen, food, the spaces we live in etc. Also, due to our love of nature, tree's & their amazing symbolisim we are getting married under a huge moreton bay fig & using a reading from captain corellis mandolin 'Love itself is what is left over when being "in love" has burned away. You need roots that grow towards each other underground, so when all the pretty blossom has fallen from your branches, you find you are one tree, and not two". Would be lovely to have this in our living space to remind us of all of these things :)

Hi Bron,
ReplyDeletefirst congrats on the blog, so glad to have found you, and more than happy to follow you for lots of inspiration. I do love these wonderful artworks, in fact I have often wondered how I could re-arrange to make one 'fit in' and then bingo you come along and suggest a bedhead - wow! We are FINALLY making over our "parents retreat" (with emphasis on the 'retreat' LOL, you know it was always the room we left til last, ran out of $$ etc, finally the time has come and although its a work in progress (and we are still plodding along as we can afford it) we DO need a bedhead and this would work perfectly....ooooh I will keep my fingers (and toes) crossed that you pick me!
Every time I see / think of tree of life it just reminds me of my dad ( he passed away when I was 7 ) as this was his fave tree !!!
ReplyDeleteCurrently living in a unit, Im rather desperate to create any feeling of the outdoors in my space - this gorgeous Tree Of Life print would be a lovely start.
ReplyDeleteps - I love your blog! Im storing all these ideas for when I get a house of my own.
I look forward to following this blog! Found it through Once.Daily.Chic.
ReplyDeleteThe red tree of life would heal my loungeroom space by being the first piece of art to be hung on my empty walls! Two years in our house, and no inspiration yet for how to fill the walls =( ...it is time. Cushions and vases are red and white, so this would be perfect!
I have had a headache for 5 years - I'm not kidding - and when I stumbled across this amazing, serene piece of artwork, I suddenly felt that this little struggle of mine was alot easier to bear. It promotes peace and wellness and I love it for that. Thank you! I am going to look at it online at the start of every day. Of course winning it would be fabulous because then I could actually wake up to it but thanks for sharing it all the same. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful heart felt comments. Thank you to all. I will be announcing the winner on Monday 20th Feb so stayed tune.
ReplyDeleteQuite simply, just by looking at this work of art makes me feel good. I now only surround myself with people and things that make me feel good-lifes too short not to. Thank you for your new blog - it's lovely.
ReplyDeleteSoon we will be building into our roof to build a parent's haven. It will allow us to see the ocean, feel the sea breeze, go to sleep looking at the sky and be in a space that isn't littered with toys. I cannot wait. I want cladding on the walls and light flooding in. The tree of life would be so at home sitting above our bed!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your stunning blog, Bronnie! I'm looking forward to following your creative journey and being inspired along the way xx
ReplyDeleteHaving just given birth to my first child, a beautiful daughter, I'm finally growing my own family tree - one which I hope will have strong roots and many branches. I would love to hang the Tree of Life in my daughter's nursery... to remind her, and I, of how amazing it is to be a woman who can create and nurture life.
I love the Tree of Life, they are so beautiful - the hardest decision would be which colour. They have a serenity which would be lovely in the bedroom above our hemp bedhead.
ReplyDeleteI also love reading your blog.
Bron, your beautiful tree of life artwork would help heal our space in the most simple of ways. A tree for me is strength and beauty. It is simple yet complex. I like to imagine myself as a tree. Healing, strong, vulnerable, when damaged having the ability to renew and rebuild. It is a place of shelter for others and a place of solitude for me. It is alive, raw, beautiful and peaceful. It creates life through its branches and a home for its creatures.... it will hang above our future little creature.
ReplyDeleteAs you slowly but surely paint each wall,
ReplyDeletemaking this house a home, our family to adore.
Though recently having our share of life's misgivings,
let's welcome a TREE OF LIFE to mark new beginnings!
I'm finding the blog very inspiring - it has a real serenity to it, as do all of your design choices. Having just moved home after 8 years abroad, as a family of 5, I am looking for a single piece to start from scratch with! We have no furniture, no art, nothing! Sorry, that's not right, I have 10,000 pieces of plastic crap to decorate with! Help!!!
